Father's Day
Hershey Pennsylvania
Today is moving day. Always a busy and a little stressful day moving the rig. We came from Pa Dutch TT to Hershey TT. Home as we call it. It was full, we couldn't find a free 50 AMP site in lower H loop. So we are in B loop, 3 dollars a day for electric, if you have 50 AMP. We have a nice spot with a few trees to give us some nice shade.
We are here for a month, so he put a lot of stuff out we don't really set up anymore. The biggest thing is his outdoor kitchen. We went for a little walk around and got some ice cream. We put our feet in the pool, it was really full with all the rain, a lot of people too, was hot too. We came home and Thomas and Travis called Jim for Father's Day. I made some IP spaghetti, can't get over how easy and good it is.

After work Travis and our youngest Granddaughter Mia came over. He had a friend with him she had 2 sons, 3 and 4 years. First they all went into the pool for a while. To cold for us. When they came back we grilled burgers and hot dogs. Jim made a fire and her oldest boy loved it and kept looking for stuff to through into it. I also put a little beef roast in the IP for Jim. Was a really nice evening with our youngest son.

After work I went to the Country View store. When Jim got home we grilled some meat and veggies. We were sitting under the awning and the one neighbor came by and said a turtle was coming down the driveway between the cars. We saw this turtle, with his head up so high looking around, it looked like a snake. Reminded us of all the turtles in Florida, was fun to watch for awhile.
So exciting real life.

After dinner we went to his Mom's home to see his brother and our SIL, they are here from Colorado. We had a nice visit.

After work I went right to Bethel to get my nails done. Then I went Redners food store. Took a picture of our old house, they have the flower bed so nice. They got rid of a lot of things I had in, like this big piece of cool wood, that my Dad had at his house for years. And a pom pom bush, I paid a lot of money for years ago.
When Jim got home from work he saw a deer at the guard shed. He got a good picture of it. The deer on the dash of the truck, is a replica of one we had as a kid it was on a going away cake when we all left as a family in our 30 foot Concord MH and went to Alaska. Long story but it is special to me, when it was facing out all was well with the world.
After dinner he went to his Mom to see his brother and I stayed home, and had a nice quite evening. I was tired.

After work when we were done with dinner, his brother came over by himself. They sat out by the camp fire and had a nice visit. I went in and gave them so alone time.

This was my first weekend to work day shift instead of the late one, when I only get home at 8. After work Larry and our SIL Chris and Jim's Mom came over to the CG. We grilled burgers and had a real nice visit. I made a Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cake yesterday and we had it for dessert. Jim made a real nice fire we all enjoyed.

After work, I get home right before 3. Before I got home Jim took the truck and went to pick up some wood at his buddy's house and he was holding our 2 bikes. Now we have to work on them, they are not quite road ready yet. We went and shared a sub and a slice of pizza, for early dinner. Then we went to Redners for a little food shopping. Then we dropped off the truck and picked up the van for work tomorrow.

I worked the late shift today. When I got home Jim had grilled me a turkey burger, I ate it alfresco, I love to eat outside something about it is so special and fun. Jim grilled a steak for his dinner. He smoked 2 chickens too. Now I have 2 days off.
Tuesday and Wednesday June 26 and 27, 2018
On Tuesday I did 4 loads wash, had a nice visit here with Nancy. Watered all my flowers outside. Hung the sheets outside they smell so good, later Jim helped me make the bed. Catch up on some of my TV shows. Worked on some of my bags. We went to the spring and filled our water jugs.
Wednesday I made soup in the IP with the smoke chicken. I did make some date nut balls for Jim's lunch. I went to the Country View store. Washed a load of Jim's work uniforms.
Never a good idea to look at a house once you sold it. The house we had in NJ is trashed. The people who bought it from my daughter (who bought it from us and sold when she moved to PA) were there one year and lost it. It was built in 1850. The original wood floors are practically ruined. One bathroom has no floor at all. Holes knocked thru plaster walls. We were told by a realtor it would take 60k to make it livable. We had put a lot of money into restoring and improving this house, as did Terri.
