We showered had breakfast and went to the tent this morning for church services. We rode down in the Jeep with Eric and Ann. It was starting to drizzle pretty good this morning. Very humid also. They serve Donuts first, and then
Jason and Dellynn both played guitars and sang, she is a beautiful singer. And then Sheila spoke. Everyone was standing, I couldn't see, so I got up and walked to the side so I could get better pictures and record them.
Of course their message was exactly what I needed to hear. I always cry during prayer. Sheila talked about going home for Easter, and how much she missed her grand babies. I believe they have six, she talked about being home and going to church with them and they were all fighting to sit next to Grandma, and the youngest her two-year-old squished her face and said she didn't want her to leave. Of course she was in tears.
Telling the story. She missed home, she was home, She was saying she didn't know why God took her Dad. And Todd's Mon, But she now feels that a small part of it was us, The Switch Crew, and there mission. After she dried her tears. She spoke of opening up both hands to the Lord, She spoke of how sometimes God calms the storm and sometimes God calms the sailor.
It's so hard to explain, maybe I shouldn't even try, but it just touched me so much.
I really needed a Dad hug NOW, I went looking for Billy, I found Cindy and Billy and she hugged me and said Go Ahead find him, Billy is SO sweet he hugged me so long and hard, and he said its OK sweetie.
Well I was still crying, but I felt so much better.
Everyone helped stack chairs they did tables last night.
Then we all met for Jeep Tour. There was also a motorcycle ride going on which Todd leading. Jason and Dellynn we're going to some coffee shop that they Apparently love and invited anyone to join them. Sheila and Megan were going outlet mall shopping so if that's your jam, you could go with them.
Here's a few pictures of us during stops. OH missed one. Then we went into Gruene, we came in from a different angle. We went into a restaurant called Giestmill.
This picture belongs down
Cool building on in side, hard to see but what I thought was strings of light hanging down are really tree roots.
We were able to talk with more new people. We know alot of people from Texas now.
The food was great this is Jim's chicken fried steak, we shared key line pie too, one of the best I've had.
Someone took our pic, she got an ear full of our group, she was so sweet. We went with Eric and Ann to find a bike rack. They used to be in the back of the Jeep and now the golf carts in there. We went to three different stores to try to find something that would work. First we went to Dick's they said they had on Web site but they didn't. Then we went to Camping World, then we went to Harbor Freight. He found something they thought would work well, but turned out the brackets that went around the tires weren't big enough to fit his big fat tires. Then we got back to the RV, there was a pool party going on from about 3 to 5 which we missed. Sounds funny but was almost too hot for me to go to the pool. But there was a lady at lunch had a cabana, but we never made it with all of our shopping.
So we rested for a while Jim fell asleep in his chair we got ready and drove with Eric and Ann in the Jeep to the HERE It should be
RoughHouse Brewing Company where we had a taco buffet for dinner there was live music playing they did some drawings and gave away an e-bike someone donated, a Prada purse, solar package worth $2,000 from Enduro Power and Harrison, after he finished with Todd and Sheila's install. We were quite the large commercial for him. I know I'd like to call him. And they also donated internet Wi-Fi set up for your RV. I forgot what its called. And they also gave us the numbers what we actually did at the food bank. We Boxed 864 meals. 6500 hundred meals, Jim said they fed 110 families on his end. We actually bought t-shirts and made donations and we collected another $1,892.50 to give to the Food Bank.
We danced a few times they had a mechanical bull there, Todd Road it quite a few times he said it was very slippery. Quite a few wrote it and quite a few knew they should not ride it, including Jim.
More pictures of the garden after dark.
What a beautiful day
