Campfire with friends

Didn't do much today worth writing about.
Our only big fun adventure was going over to Neil and Nancy's for a campfire. Mandy was there along with our neighbors, now behind us Ken and Donna.
So funny how she recognized us, well Jim, from his fb shenanigans, last time we were here she said hi on a walk. I told her about walk fit now she comes up and we do that together everyday. We all had a nice chat together. We left after dark, On our golf cart ride home and saw this critter passing on the golf cart path in front of us.
Monday January 9, 2023
Happy Birthday to our oldest son Thomas today.
Jim was up and out the door about 7:40 am. Neil went and followed Jim. He had an appointment at Pep Boys for our truck to get rear brakes. They dropped it off and went to breakfast. Then they came home to wait for a call that it was finished.
I was up for walk fit and line dancing the whole time they were gone. Jim just sat around all day. So quite, it was going to cost 1,065. They wanted to do both sides for, 2600. Neil said why? The other one didn't need it. Just the one locked up for some reason.
So later we had lunch and, I was planning and cooking for our get together with fellow Switch Crew, Val and Kev.
Neil and Nancy were both here for a visit.. Then they went home. Jim said they will call when you leave... he finally gets the call it was done, probably less than 1/2 hour after they left. Neil came right back. And then they both left to go pick it up. He was back really quick. I said you better cheer up now, we are going now. LOL Was just in time.
The golf cart is so nice for going to visit people carrying all this food and chairs etc.
I made mini zucchini pie and corn bread casserole. And had chocolate chip zucchini cake too for dessert. He had chicken in his smoker, and made smashed potatoes with cheese. Dinner was so so good. Had a lovely time.
Jim was able to see there beautiful DRV fifth wheel.
Was way after dark and getting cold. We said our goodbyes and headed towards home.
Tuesday January 10, 2023
This morning we did our regular morning routine I headed up for walk fit and line dance.
When I got back I made us both a burrito bowl. Which is one of my favorites. It starts with Mexican rice Jim's grilled chicken, cheese, some kind of refried beans, or black beans whatever I have sour cream, salsa and avocado. Topped with lettuce and tomato, and maybe some tortilla chips on the side. Fantastic.
After lunch we took a golf cart ride. And started our visiting tour.
Right up from our site this pretty lady was outside ALL dressed up. Of course I had to say something. I was driving the golf cart, I said how pretty the dress was. She thanked me, and said she was trying to decide which one to wear to her hubby's work party. I said I loved this one, what does the other look like. He showed me a picture. Was tight, sparkling and red.
Jim liked that one best. A few days later we found out she picked the red one.
First we saw Andy and Angela on their bikes, they are part of the switch crew, had a chat with them quick.
First we stopped with Lynn and Jeanne, and Chief had a nice visit with them.
Saw some of the upgrades they did in their motorhome. They had a fireplace installed. She also wants to get a washer dryer combo.
We had a visit with Neil and Nancy on the way. They had a quick propane fire.
Then we headed home for the night, and I made dinner.
Wednesday January 11, 2023
This morning I was up early again went to walk fit.
No line dancing today on Wednesdays. I got home took a shower got ready for the day. We headed out before noon. Took a trip to Fawn Ridge. We were told by Mary and Earl about how you could change your domicile to Florida, and get a deed there. It's a small Campground, you kind of have to become a member of, and it would give us an extra place to go in our reservation line up. Only arrived the office was closed for lunch but the neighbor invited us over.
They are one of the hosts. We sat with him and had a nice chat about how the campground runs. We jumped on the golf cart with him and he gave us a tour.
Lovely Place only about a hundred sites near a golf course it's about 13 miles from Orlando, takes awhile with the crazy traffic.
By this time the office was open we stopped in and talked with the lady inside. Jim really likes the idea sounds like we might end up doing it sometime soon. After we left we were going to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch. But Jim said it was in the opposite direction we were heading.
So we went to Culver's instead. Fresh flowers on the table, wow, cool.
We were very disappointed in the meal compared to the first time we went. Just wasn't as good.
Then we made a stop at Bealls still looking for my Nick capri pants. Then a quick stop at Walmart, Jim got some booze and we stopped at Lowe's. I ran in and took the wallpaper back that Mary Jo didn't approve of, lol.
Fun day had dinner and relaxed.
Thursday January 12, 2023
Not much going on today. Just saying boring stuff as usual. Walk fit then line dance. Lunch etc etc. We did see one of the beautiful lakes here in the campground. Saw a little gator in once. And this is the recipe that I made for the zucchini pie, that I took over to Val and Kev.
Other than that that's about it today
