This morning I was up early again. Nice not to have to rush off anywhere. But I will miss doing my walk fit. It was going to be a very cold weekend. So once Jim was awake we finished enjoying our coffee and had breakfast together. We just enjoyed our RV and stayed in.
Good time to cook when it's cold so I made a turkey pasta veggie Bolognese sauce. Jim was not a fan because of the veggies. Put in zucchini, eggplant, onions and peppers and put it on top of spaghetti squash. Then I made a clam chowder. He does love that. If I want to eat cream soup I have to make my own, because I used the lactose-free milk. I had some whole milk so it makes it even better for a soup.
Later in the afternoon I said I wonder if anything's going on this weekend here. I had just told Cindy Smith when they come here if they have meat Bingo make sure you go. So when I checked the schedule I told Jim, meat bingos tonight. He said I don't want to go, it's too cold, I don't want to spend the money. $10 a person, and you get pizza. What's wrong with that ! blah blah blah. I said really... of course I talked him into going, he packed up his bag with a few beers.
We took the golf cart over to the activity center after dinner, got there about 6:30 starts at 7:00. We each had a little bit of pizza, sat in the very back, at the same table we were in when Bonnie was there. Introduced ourselves to the people we were sitting with. Her name was Donna, come to find out her cousin is Paula, that I line dance with every day. She lives in a park right behind the campground here at TTO.
We had a wonderful time. Jim one bingo twice and a door prize, I won once.
They also play a game called the worst card in the house. Everyone stands up and they start calling cards you sit down if you have that card on yours. To see who wins. As you saw from the picture in the beginning of this post we did pretty good.
I always brag I don't eat beef and we never win any, and this time that's all we won everything was beef. That OK, So Jim was really happy, LOL. It was a little shoulder roast, stew meat, sausage made with pork beef and chicken and hamburger. Was a fun night Jim was glad he came, as he always is when I talk him into having fun. Most of the rounds we played there was only one winner so we had extra rounds we played and didn't get finished playing till 9:30 or so . Then we took a cold golf cart ride home.

This morning we did our usual morning weekend routine. I had told a whole bunch of people about the Farmers Market in Clermont that they hold every Sunday. So as the morning progressed I was getting texts from people that said they were going to go. We new Neil and Nancy wanted to go, and Billy and Cindy texted me they wanted to go. And I had talked to Jeanne and she also wanted to go more of a last minute decision for them, they left a little later. We were ready to leave, Neil and Nancy pulled out right in front of us, so together we arrived at Clermont Farmers Market around 10:30.
We started walking around the farmers market the four of us together. We bought a few things, shrimp
and some produce Jim and Neil were taking them back to the truck. And when he did Billy and Cindy are here.
So the six of us got together and we made our introductions to them with Neil and Nancy. We walked around a bit trying to decided where to go for lunch, we picked the CBC Clermont Brewing Company for lunch again.
The six of us had a wonderful time all getting to know each other better. Jeanne and Cindy hit it off great, they both love to go to the casino, and both love the Dallas Cowboys and football. They had a lot to talk about.
Each of the three couples, we all ordered triple sliders. We shared them and we also got a big plate of nachos for the six of us to share. And a lot of french fries.
The waitress took a picture of the six of us. After we were finished eating I was getting texts from Jeanne. They finally arrived and we told them where they were and they showed up too so we had eight of us together for a short time. Neil and Nancy had to take off first. And then Cindy and Billy had to leave she had to visit someone in the hospital. So Jim and I sat with Jeanne and Lynn, while they share nachos too.
What a super fun day we all had together. Upon arriving back to Thousand Trails Orlando, we were almost back to our RV and we saw a whole bunch of people looking in the sky. Of course we pulled over and I asked and they said a launch is about to take off from the Space Center. We got back to our rig parked the truck, I said quick let me out and I ran over and got a couple great pictures where it was about 6:00 you could see the shuttle taking off and then the two booster Rockets coming back down for a landing.
Here when I first saw it
I hollered to the guy in front of me that was grilling look look, he said oh thanks. And our neighbor behind us named Brad we had chatted with a lot he was always outside smoking. I told him he said oh thanks for telling us and we all enjoyed a couple great pictures of the launch. We got a better view than we thought we would being so far away. Then we went in for the rest of the night, ate a late dinner. We even brought left over nachos and Fries home Jim will enjoy tomorrow.
