This morning I woke up first, made coffee. Shortly after that it rained a little. I went out to squeegee the RV clean and dry, and I did the table cloth that was full of pollen. It started to rain again was getting pretty heavy. Jim was up a little after I came back in. It got really heavy then. Was worried about the awning, so I put it in. Then when it stopped again I  used my new squeegee again, works great. Camper looked good.

I had my breakfast then I made some potatoes in the IP and made Jim eggs and sausage.

Then he called his Mom to make plans for the day. She was waiting for Jim to call. It was really nice out the rest of the day, about 83 degrees.

We went back to Walgreen's to get her pills. As I was walking around I realized my left sandal I was wearing was falling apart. Jim got his Mom in the car and came back in, he helped me find a pair  of rubber sandals.

Then we tried to decide on a restaurant for lunch we ended up going to Olive garden. Years ago we went Jim was not happy with his meal, his lasagna portion was to small. So I was surprised when he suggested to go there. Was really good. We both had minestrone soup Jim had salad. We had breadsticks of course. Jim had rigatoni with meat sauce and sausage I had shrimp and angel hair with broccoli. Brigitte had pasta with meat sauce. We shared black tie Chocolate cake and tiramisu. Was all really really good. Jim was happy this time. 

Then we went to the Titanic Artifacts Museum. Was very interesting. 

Then we went back to her cabin, the 3 of us took a golf cart ride, went out to the lake and saw a baby gator in the water.

Got back just as we were going back. We went home and had a piece of unfried chicken in the air fryer. Jim covered the golf cart up and plugged it in. 

We watched a little TV took a shower went to bed.

Jim was up this morning about half an hour before me. We had coffee and breakfast. I made blueberry muffins.  He went up to his Mom's in the golf cart to see what our plans for the day would be. She had some leg and knee pain probably from all the sitting yesterday without her leg being propped up. She wanted to go to Walgreen's needed some pills. They said would be really around 2:30. Jim washed the car while we went in. She wanted to go do some shopping. We talked about going to Walmart, just cheaper for food. Even though I love Publix.  She said it was ok, we arrived and she didn't get anything I only needed a few things. Then we went to Publix and only got Pepsi and Beer.

When we got back, Jim dropped me off I put our stuff away. I had breakfast for lunch. We loaded up the golf cart and went over and Jim grilled chicken on her big grill, I made unfried chicken in her big gas oven. We hung out for awhile.

He had to call Walgreen's back, call her Doctor first before could get a refill. Will try to pick up tomorrow.

 I took some of her laundry home to do. We put our chicken and other stuff away. And Jim and I took a golf cart ride, chatted with friends we met last year here, Barbara and Jeff, we crafted together and she taught us how to play dice game Left, Right  Center. Then we saw Neil and Nancy chatted a bit. 

Came home had dinner. The rest of the smoked pork. I went to get his Mom on the golf cart while he made a fire. It was almost 7 by now she was tired, and stayed home. We sat by fire Barbara and Jeff drove past in there scooter, we chatted for a bit. I went in cleaned up finished her wash. And chilled with TV. Jim was out for awhile came in at 10ish.

Jim was up first and made coffee, I got up just after 730ish, I turned on the TV to finally watch some real news, even though Jim hates the channel. And the TV said that it was off and to call payment Department. We were just talking about DirecTV not taking out our automatic payment for some reason. So I made a call  had a very aggravating conversation to DirecTV, not a fun thing to do first thing in the morning. He gets upset right away at their incompetence why should I pay late fees and $5 charge just to talk to somebody when it's their fault. We are so close to canceling it just getting rid of all the aggravation and  cost, probably will do it sooner than later at this point. More to the story but that's enough of that, once  the TV was back on we chilled again. Jim had breakfast took a shower and went up to visit his mom while I did the same here alone.

He came back so quick, said she wants to go to the beach. We got ready to go to Clearwater Beach. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get there.

But SO beautiful.

We found a valet parking garage $17 for 12 hours I think it was, had handicapped parking my mother-in-law tipped him well they even had a wheelchair there he let us use and the employee bathroom. He told us where to go for three great restaurants. The one we went to was Crabby's Bar and Grill.

There was an elevator we're on the second floor overlooking the water had a wonderful meal,  walked out to the sand on the beach.

Took 3 hours to get home, traffic was crazy. So I missed my line dancing and the Italian food truck that was here. But we all really had fun. A few pictures from the day.

Jim got up around 7 and we got really started to pack up. We went in and paid, we asked for t-shirts like our guy was wearing, we got two. We left at 10 am, drove straight through to Orlando TTO. Two hours away, we arrived 12:03 and there was 18 rigs in front of us already. Wow, we talked to a ranger we know. He said 5 rigs drove past him before 12, and will get a citation.

We were hoping to get Mike and Mandy's site, it was close to my MIL in the new section, but that was long gone. We  were taken around by a woman ranger. We had a choice of a few, hard to pick but found a nice one with shady living side. We snuck in the side on the door side, was scared for a minute.

We had called his Mom when we were still in line.

I went to pick her up in the golf cart, so she could watch as Jim set up outside. We chatted as he worked, we took her for a long ride around, saw a few park models for sale.  Saw a MH stuck in the sand, had to have a tow truck there to pull him out.

Then we Took her home. 

We ate dinner and I went up to line dance from 6 to almost 8. Beautiful sunset at the pool.

I drove home in the dark had to call Jim was not sure what rode we were on in the dark. Shocking I'm lost again.

I came back took a shower and did a few loads of laundry.

Tuesday February 9, 2021 

This morning Jim got up before 6 a.m. again, but he wouldn't have had to. I got up shortly after. We relax did our thing, as we saw everyone coming into work an activity starting up. Nothing going on with us yet. 

Jim went out and was getting a water jug, he thought he would look for the key fab again, and HE found it YEA. I  said  woohoo, our tech guy said WHAT happened we told him. I just told Jim that I felt like it was still here somewhere and we would find it. 

So we asked our guy  he was taking out our neighbor's window, we asked if it's okay if we go do some errands for a little bit, he said sure no problem. We took the key inside for them just in case they needed to get in, which they didn't. Then we took a quick trip to Walmart. Found a few things. Came back put our stuff away found a new cushion for my chair. Jim found more firewood inside. I started to get lunch ready and then Brian told us they were coming over soon to install our two. 

He did a water test, to make sure they didn't leak.

We kind of ate quick as he was starting to reinstall the two windows. By this time was after 1 pm.

We sat out in the gazebo for 2 hours and I talked to my cousin Wanda. Was really fun. 

This place was really filling up, think all spots were full 12 in our row, then more on  the other side. 18 total.

Then we went for a walk around and Mike called, we was checking in with his Mom, but all was well, he just wanted to park a car over with her.

We had dinner later. Tomorrow we will pay in the morning and head to TTO.

Monday February 8, 2021

This morning we couldn't remember when the shop opened up. Jim found on there website opens at 7. So Jim set the alarm for 6, but he was up at 5:45. I never heard him shower till he got out I was awake and up shortly after that, when he kept saying get up get up now. 

The first guy knocked on the door at 6:30 am. Early but still very exciting to get these windows fixed. It started off with Kevin and paperwork. The price was almost half of what they originally told us, so that made us happy. And then shortly after another guy came in and pop both the windows out. 

All day long motorhomes kept coming and going. Till almost every spot of the 16 was full Plus. After that no one really bothered us except to pick up the paperwork at the door.

 So I made him  breakfast. We have a lot of little projects that need done inside, and out. Jim started on the first, one pendant light above the island was only holding on by the wires, which we kind of forgot about. So he took that apart and fixed that. It must have swung back and forth like crazy on the way here. Can't believe it didn't break.

Then he took out the fireplace again so I can get a little piece of paper towel that came off when we had it out  last time and cleaned it. Was driving me nuts. We cleaned the front glass inside and out too. Still need to get the piece to make the flame effect again.

And he pulled the desk out cleaned it, cleaned out the drawer. And he reattached it and made it so it cannot come out, until he can replace, if we can find it the little plastic broken piece that hold it in and out. 

For lunch I made Urban Cowboy tuna not so much of this onion, with apples and pecans instead. Yes I got the idea from the movie. After lunch we sat out back in lawn chairs in the gazebo and watched all the activity. 

Jim called his mom and we had a little chat. She seems to be enjoying herself, she walked all the way from her cabin to the clubhouse. She said she had a nice chat with the lady and bought some ice cream. I think she even saw Mike and Mandy she said,  and they said hi. Then I called Drew and we chatted a bit. It was a beautiful hot day, we had the door and windows open with fans but it felt great. About 83 for a high.  Felt weird to have the windows taped up.

 For dinner we had turkey burgers Jim grilled at the cabin with his mom before we left. I threw two handfuls of french fries in the air fryer.

 the big motorhome in the background sticking out, the guy working here told us it's about a two million-dollar motorhome, we are the only fifth wheel trailer trash, LOL here. I told Jim it just shows you. No matter how much your rig cost they all need repairs done.

 After dinner we took a walk around  the whole property . TV not so great here on the antenna, we watched A Star is Born I had in the DVR, love to hear her sing, but it took a little darker turn than I expected. We tried to go to bed early little after 9 never know if it's another early wake-up call.

This morning we packed up to head to Hudson at Suncoast Designers. To get two windows fixed.

I did my stuff inside as Jim did outside. It had rained on and off heavily at times over night. So I asked Jim to get my new squeegee out, I went all around the FW, looks alot cleaner now. 

It cleared up really nicely when we left, nice drive.

We left at almost 11 am. Only took about an hour and 15 minutes. They have 16  RV spots here with water and 50 amp. The first 3 motorhome are just parked no slides out. Plus 8 more here including us, but we are the only FW.

We had a rough time parking for some reason our communication was OFF.

Last year when Covid-19 hit we had an appointment then to get one fixed, with everything else plus the day last year it was 95 degrees the day we had our appointment. So we never made it. 

The first  one needed fixing  the seal is broken so it's cloudy, 

the second broke one day for no reason when we were packing to move. That's the golf cart out there.

  I said now I know why we didn't get it fixed, because now we have 2. The round black thing is fire ring.

After we finally got set, I finished wiping the RV down, wanted to do the dirty spots under the slides. Looks great now.

Then I got lunch ready all my premade food we had ready. By this time was close to 2 PM.

After dinner I  made a chocolate chip zucchini cake with Jim as my kitchenaid  mixer.

I went for a walk all around. More MH's came in later early evening.

We stay the night, they start the work early in the am. Till everything drys and we leave Wednesday to go to TTO with my MIL.
