This morning we did wake up at 2:30 in the morning and Jim started the truck a little to warm it up. I guess we went back to sleep for a while woke up about 6:00.
I made some coffee in the truck. I brought some of the coffee that you brew one cup at a time, they're like a tea bag.
No coffee available inside Walmart, went in for more water and batteries. No coffee sold anywhere, came out and made another cup. Then we had some oatmeal banana breakfast cookies, I made before we left. Then we got on the road right before 7:30 a.m.
Our first stop was a Pilot truck stop. We went in and each got a large coffee. Jim got a slice of breakfast pizza. That's it for $13. seems kind of pricey I thought.
Then we got on the road again, he stopped at one other rest area for a potty break.
It's funny how every now and then, a trucker will wave at you, one guy gave Jim a thumbs up. A car went by and Jim said he saw them roll their window down and take a picture of us.
Later about 3:00 in the afternoon we got so sleepy, Jim even scared himself.
We pulled into another rest area around 3:00 in the afternoon I lay down in the back, and he just stayed in the driver seat with his feet up. 2 hours later we got up and decided just to stay the night.
It was almost 5:30 and was soon rush hour traffic, and not long before dark. It's a little noisy and the truck's Park very tight. But we'll make it work, I heated up chicken and yellow rice that I had Frozen for dinner.
A beautiful yellow Peterbilt truck pulled in next to us. Couldn't believe how tight spots are here. He asked if we were staying the night. We said it would, be nice that no one will come and go right next to us.
He said nice setup, but your truck is pregnant, lol. New one never heard anyone say that.
Watched episode 7 of the RV Revolution. Then I worked on the blog. Jim was super tired, so he brushed and went to bed, just after 8 pm. I followed shortly after him.
