HDT Rally, Ladies Lunch

This am breakfast donuts today between 7 and 8:30 am. We arrived just in time for Jim to have one with more coffee. 

We found out this morning the venue messed up, and was double booked for a wedding during our time here. So Friday they will be a wedding here at the same time we are occupying the space. That should be interesting. Steve the organizer along with his wife. He took the high road and gave them the space with the huge kitchen he said he didn't want a bridezilla on his hands.

Then the classes started. First was what the heck is a Jackalopee. It connects the electrical from truck to the RV.

Then the Custom Travel Home. 

By a couple from Sweden. Very innovative design. 

He is working with new technology from Sweden that he hopes to make work here soon. Alot with water, an orbital shower, with recirculating shower water. Use 3 gallons of water for a 10 minute shower. The water would be cleaner after it's cleaned then when it started. Also being able to use water from anywhere.

Then we planned to head to the ladies lunch, about 20 minutes away at Carriage Crossing, and we all paired up for riding together.

 With Veleta Jones. It was a great lunch, we all ordered off the menu, they did a great job. 

I expected it to be a buffet they had pre arranged with the restaurant. Had a great chat with my table mates. I ordered hot turkey sandwich and they had great homemade bread. I was able to bring some home. 

We all brought pie home.

Hopefully Jim and I can go back together later in the week. It's like being home, Yoder family restaurant like being in Pennsylvania.

While we were gone Jim got pictures of them putting this van in there 

FW toy hauler.

When we returned we caught the end of weights balance and safety.

Then Boogie Lights, for safety and the cool factor for sure.

Then fire safety. 

Liked this sign, it says it all. 

Then we stopped to get a tour of the Custom Travel Home.

Built like a sticks and bricks house. It is not a tiny home.

Later Switch It Up Todd and Sheila did a video with them.

Happy hour from 4 to 6 then we had dinner together at home.
