Adventures with Sue and Tony Costanza

Adventures with Sue and Tony Costanza

Friday July 7, 2023

This morning Jim was up bright and early. I got up around 8:00 a.m.. such a fun adventure in our little Class C. Jim had the coffee going we enjoyed that, eventually I made him breakfast I had packed. Couple eggs, bacon in the microwave, fried potatoes we did with Drew on the Ninja, and he made toast. Eventually I ate my oatmeal and worked on the blog.
Jim realized there was going to be a Switch It Up camp out in October after we leave Branson. Jerry and Shelly were going to be hosting in Oklahoma. They were our neighbors in Florida at the Margaritaville Huddle. Jim texted him and he said to give him a call, we chatted with Jerry for a while about the details of the campout. So till we hung up we booked that weekend with them.
Then we went inside with Sue and Tony, she offered us breakfast, but I already fed us. We took showers. What wonderful host and hostess they are. It was raining a little on and off. Jim and I had a late lunch inside our RV.

Then we're off to see what fun adventures we can find for the day.
They decided to take us on a tour of the local breweries and have a beer tasting. We stopped at a total of six places. It was a lot of fun even for me.
The first one we stopped at was called the New York Beer Project. Jim and Tony each had a flight of beer inside there.
It was huge, packed with people and had beautiful chandeliers. Really fun atmosphere, It was a happening place to be.
After that I changed my shirt and put on my no BS T-shirt.
Because they found a place called no BS Brew Company was number two. What a waste of time that one was. So disappointing my T shirt humor was lost on the most boring waitress ever. Got nothing from her, Sue had some popcorn.
We were going to leave but Jim had already ordered one flight there. As soon as he was finished we left. We were the only people inside. That says alot, was very small too.
Then we went to a place called Bee Hive Brew Pub. Tony ordered fried artichoke hearts as an appetizer. They said the sauce was mild, but it definitely wasn't mild. Jim had one beer inside.
There was some fun people at the bar we chatted with.
After we left there we went to #4 Peacemaker Brewing.
It was a cute little place all the doors and windows were open. There's a band about to play at 6:00 p.m. at this point it was about 5. Sue got a frozen mixed drink with pina colada and strawberry. They had sparkling water Fresca, which is my new favorite drink,  I had two of those. Jim got a flight and we ordered a flatbread pizza and veggies and hummus to share. It's a fantastic healthy snack. Jim really wanted this New York shirt that said beer.
#5 was Frequenten. This place did nothing for us. All the beer had fruity names so we ended up not doing anything in there, and left .
#6 Twisted Rail on Canandaigua Lake. It was fantastic a band was already playing it was quite large you can order barbecue and then take it to the guy outside to fill up your plate. It was very tempting to order for later.
We sat and listened to music, Jim had one glass of beer there. The water was beautiful.
We got back to the house ate leftover pork and coleslaw veggies that Sue had from yesterday. But now it was after 8:00 p.m.. Jim and Tony got out a hose and filled RV water tank.
We changed, and grab their dog Tyson and went back out to the same park to walk him. We saw a few deer again,  had a nice walk, this time that big Pavilion was rented out. Then we drove over to the marina and saw a little bit of the sun setting. We watch some boats coming in, till we left there it was almost 10:00 p.m.. crazy for us.
Boats coming in.
We got home said good night, used their downstairs bathroom,  I washed the dishes in there. Jim went to bed first. I finally went to bed a little after 11:00, we both slept fantastic. Such a fun adventure, in our little Class C.
