More Holiday Travel plans for Class C

More Holiday Travel plans for Class C

Monday July 3, 2023

This morning we were up and had our coffee went into the house for breakfast. David was here all day and we chatted on and off the whole day. I made them both French toast and eggs for breakfast. Later I made a creamy chicken and wild rice soup. Tomorrow is the 4th and we are going to Jeanne and Lynn's house for a party.
So I made an orange creamsicle cake and a big container of broccoli cauliflower salad.  David's fish
Later David put more chicken on the smoker. Jim filled up the RV with fresh water again in our 45 gallon water bladder. Internet at the light is working great.
I worked on the back curtains some more. Putting a little valence to cover the hardware and blinds. Before
After
I spent a lot of time in the kitchen today. We went over plans with David for the next two times we want to use the class C motorhome. We're taking it to Rochester New York on Thursday for the long weekend. Going to see Tony and Sue Costanza. So looking forward to that. But it requires a lot of packing and thought work.
Went out back saw a snake again.
Drew's cat.
Later I made quesadillas for a light dinner. Packed some up for our holiday travel. David left at dusk to go do an errand. Jim and I went home to watch TV. I ran back in the house to pack a few things.

Tuesday July 4th

This morning we got up, did our normal routine. We don't come over as early now that we have TV and Drew wasn't here.
I was scrubbing Drew's shower when he got home about 11ish. He was starving, so I heated him up soup and other leftovers.
Had a small bowl of soup after we showered and got ready to go to Lynn and Jeanne for the 4th July party.

It was really hot out today and we had about an hour drive to get there. Was near Dalton. We arrived at 2 pm.
They had so much food. We were pretty hungry by then. We had a fantastic meal.
Ribs, burgers, hot dogs, 2 kinds of shrimp, beans, potato and macaroni salad, my broccoli cauliflower salad, and a pasta salad on this table.

Met there neighbor girl Morgan, above, she  was 11 with such a big personality. So cute. Later he had made a fire.
They put a very nice entertaining area out back.

Then some fireworks came out, always loud and can be scary. So time to head out. Nice drive home, saw deer going both directions.
Arrived home, didn't need to eat again today, that's for sure. Put the rest of the cake in the house fridge and enjoyed our RV for the rest of the evening. Drew had already retired for the evening. Later went over for a few things, and we plugged in the MH and turned on the fridge. Got really tired early tonight.

Wednesday July 5, 2023

We really stayed in late this morning. Then went over for a late breakfast I made. It was really hot and humid today, didn't do a whole lot. Trying to plan for our trip tomorrow. Did a huge load of Jim's laundry. We had a half a quesadilla and salad, and leftover cake for lunch.
Jim helped me finish hanging the curtains at the sofa, in the above pictures. It was really hot in there today. David came and went today one point he dropped off some groceries and left again.
Later I chopped a whole pile of veggies for Jim to grilled again. Later I made kielbasa and pierogies for dinner, packed up some to take on our trip.
Drew and Jim sat out on the deck for awhile.
Went home late, then Jim sent Drew a message on fb, if he wanted a frozen mud slide. He said come over we will party. So I made a big pitcher and  walked it over. Was after 10 pm. David arrived and we watched a few comics on TV till we finally went home.
So much to pack tomorrow.
