We had breakfast this morning and we left at 10:30 am with Len and Phyllis East, he drove us to the Rattlesnake Saloon. We decided to wear jeans a little cool out, but didn't think of it, should have taken a coat. It was about an hour drive.
When you arrive they drive you down steep hill to the cave bar restaurant. There is a gift shop too. And a little campground you can bring your horses too.
We took the truck ride down. The food was really good. No pictures but plentiful and pretty good. Guys Had burgers and I had a veggie burger Phyllis had chicken salad sandwich. Jim and I shared huge key line pie.
They were having a live band play tonight. We took the ride back up. Then headed out.
We went to a Amish store, been there before. Have great kitchen items.
Then we took long drive home.
We rested a bit. Then another boondocker checked in. Rick and Karen they also had 2 dogs.
Then Jim and I went to Wal-Mart and got diesel.
We got home put stuff away. We ate leftover ribs. Phyllis texted us to come up Rick and Karen we up visiting. She made a cake and we all had some together. Somehow talking about needing a dentist in Florida they gave us a name of a good one in Wauchula. They said goodnight to us all went back to there beautiful MH. They are full-time too from Florida.
We said goodbye too shortly after them. Confirmed our plan for tomorrow.
Was a wonderful day with these lovely friends.
