Sunday at Church, Mother's Day Lunch

Sunday at Church, Mother's Day Lunch

Sunday May 8, 2022

This morning when I got up I made some french toast for Jim. Then we got ready and went to church with Len and Phyllis. Very small congregation, everyone greeted us and thanked us for coming.
After we left we went to Len's son and daughter-in-law's house. Lois and Lenny. They have a beautiful home on 5 Acres. This picture taken from the landing when I was going to the bathroom. Beautiful fireplace and hardwood floors.
They made us a lovely lunch for Mother's Day grilled chicken,  couple different sausages couple different kinds of burgers and all the fixin's.
They have a son named Jordan,  with Lois, he was so cute and talkative 11 years old. He called me Miss Darlene
When we were finished he wanted to play Mexican Train. So we all played together.

Thomas called during the game so I went up to the landing to talk to him for Mother's Day.  We thanked them and said our goodbyes.
When  we left we went to Clarkson covered bridge, it is the longest in America . Todd and Sheila were just there
and we found the adventure sticker.
Then we went back to the house, came in the back way to see how rough the road is back there, with a drop off to nowhere land. We changed our clothes and rested awhile.

Later went back to the house for dinner. He made crawfish etouffee, Jim loved it and it was really good, and I had some pasta salad, and the rest of our cookies. We talked for a while and we went back to the RV to watch Todd and Sheila live.  Jim went to bed first.
