Brand new Month February

Brand new Month  February's Here

Wednesday February 1, 2023

So today I didn't do much. No walk fit either. The pollen is brutal for me, my head feels like it wants to explode.
Jim went outside to pack up some stuff. Some how I got up the energy to help Jim recover the golf cart seat.
We found a really cool beachy towel to recover the seat. We layed it out on the picnic table and I use those mattress straps that are to help keep the sheets on a bed,  we use them to attach the bottom towel underneath it. Then I took  the backrest inside and attached the towel to it. After I was all finished with it, it looked pretty good.
Now it needs a new paint job, especially in the front. But by then I was pretty pooped, and wanted to lay down for a little while, Jim decided to go for a beer and Diesel run, while I was napping. Felt a little better when I got up.

Later Kathy and Tim stopped over to see how I was doing. So nice of them.
I didn't put anything away yet.

It's moving DAY, and Huddle Time

Bye Orlando site, for now. Sometimes just having a little shade is NICE.
We left Orlando TTO around 11 am. Was less then an hour away to, Margaritaville RV Resort, for the Florida Switch It Up Huddle.
We called in route to make sure it was OK to arrive before there official check in time, of 2 pm. No problem for us, The Switch Crew.

We arrived around noon and were escorted to our beautiful site. After we got set up,  got to talk to a few people. Our PEOPLE are here. Jim got the golf cart out. All ready for this fancy CG.
Here's a picture of our awesome site with a cool artificial turf pad . Jim ready to go for a ride with me.  Love the reflection of the clouds on the RV.
Then we had official registration and check in time at 6:00 with desserts.

We discussed tomorrow's activities this evening after dessert. Tomorrow morning at 8:00 is the give back they do. There will be a group working with Habitat for Humanity in the house they're working on, in a store they have to help get organized and also outside of the home to clean up the yard, and they will be a group cleaning up emergency vehicles for Red Cross . But, You had to pre-register and get a waiver signed before you could participate, apparently I dropped the ball, I thought I had it done. But I did not, so I say it must have been meant to be, because being out in the pollen and in the sun would have killed me. So it's probably better I forgot to do it. So now tomorrow we don't have to be ready until lunch time that will be catered here for us.
But stay tuned it will be a busy day, and super fun.

Here's our host for the week,
Todd and Sheila Konitzer

This was kind of one of those jokes, like you had to be there to get it. BUT the Crew has alot of fun at Todd's expense, he is a great sport about it, but in all fairness, he does give us alot to work with. This was just a funny picture of Todd just cracking up at one of those, oh so funny things we reminded him of.
There was just under 200 Switch Crew there hanging out together, very special. And SOooo much FUN

We headed towards home in the golf cart took a ride chatted with people as everyone went home. We got to meet our neighbors in front of us. They have a F450 too, and he offered to drive us to tomorrow nights location for fun. Thanks Gerry,  We always try to encourage people to carpool. Then you also can get to know people better too.
