A Day spent in Legacy

A Day spent in Legacy

Monday March 27, 2023

This morning I got up to walk fit and line dance. Jim was coming to pick me up at noon. I did my favorite dance Shivers, at noon. I saw the truck out there so I grabbed my stuff and ran out to the truck. I jumped in and we went back to the RV.
Jim told me how the batteries were in, but only two, we ordered three for the golf cart so we'll pick them up tomorrow.
I took a quick shower and changed and grabbed what we needed for the day. We headed to Leesburg to go to Legacy, to spend the day with Stewart and Sallie at their beautiful home. We left about 12:30, and arrived about 1:30.
They greeted us as we arrived.
We were ready for lunch by this time. I brought dessert for them. We came in and sat at the table inside overlooking the pool. She was still prepping food as we arrived. We sat down and had a lovely fresh bowl of fruit salad.
Jim and I were pretty hungry by now as it was after 2:00. And then we had a salad.
They also made chicken drumsticks in the air fryer, she made pierogies Jim's favorite,
And steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Till we finished eating the three courses it was probably 3:30 or 4:00.

As we were finishing up her friends Tina and John stopped over. They came to visit one day and put in an offer on a house the same day. They're also from Delaware and camped with Sallie and Stewart in Pennsylvania for 40 years. She had invited us to come see their home. They've only been in three or four months I think.
They lived in the Polo Park, where I went up to line dance up the road from TTO for 25 years first.

We thanked them and they headed home, she jokingly said she had to make her bed and clean the toilet, before we arrived.  She also told me how she was in Orlando, where we are now and line danced with us there one day.
After we finished lunch we jumped in their truck and went over to their house. This is the view up the road
As we got into there truck.
It is so beautiful decorated lovely. It's a great layout.
She keeps the table set, it's just pretty

After we left Tina and John's home we headed over to see their new fifth wheel. They bought a brand new Solitude, Grand Design.
It was a nice layout and they really like it a lot. We hope we can camp with them in Pennsylvania this year.
Then we headed back to the house. We put on our bathing suits and went in the pool. Sallie said it was too cold and kept yelling at Stewart to turn it up to 88. It was so nice and refreshing. We continue chatting.
Then we got out as it was getting dark. Before we left home Jim and I discussed probably leaving around 7:00 or 7:30. As the sun was setting while we were in the pool it was obviously way later than that by now. Then she served us cheese and crackers and more fresh fruit, and chocolates. As we enjoyed a beverage by the pool, now this is the life.
She said they wanted to buy a home that felt like they were always in a mini Resort, and we sure do here, it's just fantastic. Watching the sunset through the palm trees out back enjoying the pond, although it's pretty low right now. We continue to chat and way after our snack we realized it was about 11:00 p.m.. I said this was your idea, you wanted us to stay all day. Lol She said they're always up till midnight. So sadly we said our goodbyes and headed home, we arrived at midnight.
 What a fantastic day.
