More Produce, MEAT, Chatting with Neighbors

More Produce, MEAT, Chatting with Neighbors

Friday March 12, 2021

This morning Jim was up first and made the coffee. We lounged around and relaxed way into the morning hours. Jim took a golf cart ride alone. Sat outside while I got ready. Also wash dishes cleaned out the fridge, stacked up the garbage. You know real life stuff.
Then we took a golf cart ride and checked out the produce that they have here on Fridays at 11, it was way nicer than the guy here last year. We bought green beans, broccoli, pineapple, radishes, 1 red and 1 green pepper, they had such a variety but a little pricey. After we shopped we stopped at the food truck and checked out the lunch menu.
Really nice menu
They were doing breakfast earlier. We got a chicken salad to share and what we thought was a turkey club but it had beef also, Jim ate most of that. We ate under the awning it was really good. Picture after I messed it up, for us to share.
We sat under the awning for a long time,  was just so enjoyable, chatted with the other neighbor. Took another trash run, and 4 wheel drive, it is  NOT,  in the golf cart, was a little rough in the jungle area by the river. But so pretty back there.

Then we came back, we took ride first, then all the above, wrote it backwards. Didn't take all that for a ride. Anyway  put everything away.
When Jim started the truck to leave it said this.
But it went down to about 86.  Then went to
K and J produce and meat market. Awesome meat and produce. This time I resisted More Produce. Frog Legs anyone. They also had calamari and other exotic Seafood . But we bought 6 T-bone steaks, over 2 lb of ground sirloin, bag of Frozen catfish nuggets, two bags of hush puppies, chips for tomorrow, bag of frozen shrimp, large pack of boneless skinless chicken thighs. All for $89. We came right back it took a long time to repackage everything and put it in the freezer. I made 8 hamburger patties with it, three will be for tomorrow, I chopped the pineapple up outside and cleaned up all the radishes.
Our neighbors behind us came over. He likes the same beer as Jim. We all chatted for a long time. I found out while chatting they were the couple playing pickleball when we were in Orlando line dancing on the court. And she kept dancing while she was playing pickleball. I think I even mentioned it in the blog during the time. That was so funny to find out. Was getting late. We said good night to them when they went home he made a steak for tonight and grilled all the chicken. We sat outside and ate dinner, took another trash run with all the stuff we did a lot of meat rappers and pineapple peel beer bottles, etc. Came back to get ready for our yard sale tomorrow and our little dinner party.
Went in for the night.
Jim did this for me earlier today. The   Before and after cork board he put up inside the pantry doors.
That little rooster says the rooster crows but the hen delivers the goods. I cross stitch that November of 1992.
